Welcome back for another How-To on the Xbox Community Ambassadors World! In this How-To, we are going to tell you how to help someone the right way so you can get a 9/9 rating when your finished assisting someone! Lets begin, shall we?
Like I said before in a different How-To, you have to know what your talking about and you have to know how to solve the issue accordingly. You don't want to sit there saying stuff that doesn't even make any sense, would you? If you don't know how to resolve the issue or question on the spot, you will need to build your knowledge on what is going on in the Ambassabank and outside of the Ambassabank by doing what is in the following steps.
Part of answering a problem/situation someone or even everyone is having is having some or more knowledge about the problem/situation. There are plenty of resources you can find that are offered to Xbox Ambassadors.
Sometimes the Xbox LIVE Service's have minor hiccups. Sometimes they even go down (Worst Case Scenario). If the status says "Users may experience failure to sign in and a "Helpee" or Customer says they cant sign in, consider the problem solved. Just tell them that the Service is experiencing difficulties, they are not the only ones experiencing the issue, it's likely not them, etc. Very simple.
You can go and ask any other fellow Ambassador by going to the Lounge chat room/area. The Lounge is one of the new features offered to all Xbox Community Ambassadors! Go here
http://ambassadors.xbox.com/Lounge and you can get in touch with another fellow Xbox Community Ambassador, an Alpha, and or even a Xbox Staff member! One thing, you have to be a Xbox Community Ambassador, duh.
This probably should be one of the second things you want to do. Searching the forums will come in handy as most likely, it's happened before. You can also Google it. Combining the question with "Xbox Forums" or "Xbox Support" will make the results light up with forum post or pages on how to fix it. (Example: Cant sign in to Xbox LIVE xbox support)
The Academy quizzes are also one of the best sources for understanding certain problems or questions asked in the Ambassabank. It may not sound fun, but they are really short! (About 5-10 questions most of the time) Go here: http://ambassadors.xbox.com/Academy
